about personal trainingI have played and moved all of my life. When I realized that I could do this with other people, and actually help them, a big piece of my life fell into place. What I have discovered is there are individual ways that each of us enjoy moving, and they vary and change sometimes. I have used weight training, yoga, pilates, basketball, walking, kayaking, swimming, spinning, boxing, frisbee, softball and balance, ball and band work, all to have a client feel relaxed enough to challenge themselves. I have worked with a huge variety of levels of conditioning and experience. I enjoy all of it. I also have nutritional experience. One of my gifts in this area is to create enough comfort so that "what is next for people" in this world becomes evident to them and me. One of my greatest joys, is to work with someone toward a goal of looking and/or feeling better. "If we could give every individual the right amount of nourishment & exercise, not too little & not too much, we would find the safest way to health." PERSONAL TRAINING REFERRALS:
Denise: I wanted to express my gratitude to you for helping me complete my 12 week program. I believe training with you made the difference. Your knowledge & variety kept me interested and challenged. Your experience kept me from injury. On more than one occasion I wanted to quit but, your gentle style encouraged, inspired and motivated me to continue. Even on the difficult days, (& there were many), your sense of humor and committment to my success pulled me through. This program changed my life. To put it simply, I believe in myself today. Please feel free to show my before & after pictures to anyone, the results speak for themselves. I wish you success & happiness. |

"My summer vacations on Cape cod in June and September would not be complete without scheduled workouts with Denise. They are my gifts that I give myself. Denise always begins her sessions with "How are you feeling today?" I'm seventy, and its an important question! Her workouts are tailored to my abilities, challenging, always fun, and provide me with a total mind/body experience. The only downside...my vacation ends, and its home to Pennsylvania, until "the same time next year".
